Konorchek Canyons resemble the ruins of ancient cities, castles, and modern skyscrapers. Rocky columns of red sandstone extend for miles. The length of canyons is 200 km, so it is not possible to see them all in one day. The climate in the area is rather unusual and peculiar: in summer it is very hot and dry, in winter it is cold, but practically without precipitation. Canyons were created by erosion forces over several million years where movements of the earth's crust revealed cracks and faults, rains and winds immediately destroyed the sandstone beneath it, decorating the landscape with bizarre columns.
