Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi

Breakfast. Excursion around the capital of Georgia. The capital of Georgia is unique. It stands on several mountain hills, on which the old quarters of the city “creep” in tiers. Tbilisi is the most beautiful river Kura with its picturesque rocky banks flowing through the whole city. "Old City" - the historical center of Tbilisi, located at the foot of Mount Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain). Almost all the buildings of the Old City are historical or cultural monuments, life is in full swing here: tourists walk alone or in groups, lovers meet near the Clock Tower which appeared here recently, was built by the director of the Puppet Theater Rezo Gabriadze. Artists exhibit their paintings, artisans sell numerous souvenirs. Basically, these are 2-3-storey houses made of stone and brick, and have a special Tbilisi architecture, which is distinguished by narrow streets, galleries and carved wooden balconies. Tbilisi is one of the few places in the world where an Orthodox church, a Catholic cathedral, a synagogue and a mosque peacefully coexist side by side in the Old City. During the tour, you will visit the Metekhi Church (V century), the Anchiskhat Basilica of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary of the fortress, the oldest surviving one, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the temple complex of Tsminda Sameba - the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Ascent by cable car (Tickets for extra charge) to the Narikala fortress (IV c.). Next, there is going to be a tour to the ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta, a city-museum listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then there will be a visit to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029), at the base of which one of the main Christian shrines, the tunic of the Lord, is buried, as well as the burial place of many Georgian kings. There is also a part of the life-giving pillar. Visit to the ancient temple-monastery of Jvari (VI century). On the top of the mountain, where the temple is located, a fantastic view opens up at the confluence of two rivers - the Kura and the Aragvi. There, as in the palm of your hand, a beautiful view of the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.

Tbilisi – Batumi

Breakfast. Transfer to the station. Transfer to Batumi (9:10 - 14:09). Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast. Free day. Rest on the sea. Overnight at the hotel.

Gonio Apsar fortress is the oldest fortress in Georgia on the border with Turkey. The fortress was built in the 1st-2nd centuries AD. and served as a citadel of the Roman, and later the Byzantine Empire. The total length of the fortress is 900m, the height of the walls is 5m, the height of each of its eighteen towers is 7m.

Batumi

Transfer to the station. Transfer to Tbilisi (7:35-12:30). Free time. If you wish, for an additional fee, you can go with your child to the luxurious, magical amusement park "Mtatsminda", ride the "Ferris Wheel" or visit the "Dry Bridge" to buy souvenirs. Airport transfer.
